ZRS-40T Neo Tweeter - ZRS SERIES - Cadence Acoustics, LTD

if you plan of mix and matching these guys are nice if you are willing to pull of the front window pillars to route some wire

ya im really just looking at adding a midrange speaker though. i already have decent tweeters up by the pillars.

i'm mulling it over this weekend and going to order the mids monday and start figuring it all out. once this is done i will finally be fully out of amp channels, lol.

but honestly i've never mix and matched speakers before or done a 3 way front stage. and else have experience with a mix?
How about the Hertz HL70? It's from the High Energy line but at least the same ears voiced them.

Don't get me wrong - the HAT drivers are nice but they will sound different - good or bad.

what kind of problems are you referring to when mixing?

appropriate crossover points? tonality?

and i considered the HL70 but am skeptical after some of the things i have read.

in an ideal world I would be able to listen to each of these mids before purchase, but thats not the case, so I have to base my opinion on that of as many others as possible.

i have heard the hybrids L3's in multiple cars though and loved their sound.

right now im considering
Hybrid L3SE
Hertz ML500R
Hertz HL 70
Morel CDM-88
Pioneer TS-S062PRS

well i've ordered the Hybrid L3SE and will be installing them in the front upper portion of the door shown in the first pic.

i probably would have ordered the pros but they aren't available for a couple of months.

i'll be sure to post a before and after pic when its all finished.

thanks for the input everyone!

Put thm in the sail panels or your A pillars. Your wasting your money if you don't install them in a decent location.
