no worries, you should see me on lack of sleep or after fibreglassing....

 

pointsource means both mid and highs come from the same spot (as in a coax speaker), in theory, pointsource speakers are supposed to sound better than separate components but there's only a few companies that make really good pointsource speakers that rival the quality of component sets out there.

 

6.5". Easier to migrate them into other cars

 

I like the idea of 3 way components but there doesnt seem to be as many choices...
Whats a good set for $400-$500?

I think the Eclipse 3 ways should be around that price...really nice set. Atomic has a set as well that should be in the range.
