i got an alpine type x 12" dude adn its a great sub, very SQ oriented and hits any type of bass whether it be a drum kick, bass string or a beat in a rap song perfectly. I have a Power Acoustik 3000D amplifier pushing it at 2 ohms and it powers it perfectly fine. The whole system and box included was about $550-600 bucks! but i would recommend your own box instead of prefab
