I thought your front woofer and rear subs were crossed over different then that.. O well, my mistake..

good enough

Dereck, i wish i had the chance to sit in his 240 or altima again.. After trying a-piller tweets in my car, and listening to a few more at finals, i have found that they work real well for musical tracks but oftain dont do well at the techincal ones (7 drum beat, LCR track etc). The usac cd doesnt have any technical tracks which may explain the results. lol

Interesting topic...does anyone here have the correct procedure for establishing the T/S parameters of a speaker. I think it would be worthwhile for the serious competitor to design their enclosures for the specific drivers they have, instead of the "average" specs published by the manufacturer. A lot of midbass drivers don't even supply specs.

I have the method somewhere around here, and it's not too hard. All you need is a decent linear amp, a multi-meter, a cd with test tones, and a calculator.

Yep you are right DW. I think I had to add a couple of quarters to the cone. Been a few years since I've done it....Fun way to spend a nite tho.
Have to have a couple of resistors too, to align the meter... I'm gonna dig thru my junk drawers tonight.

Hey defro.. given the opportunity I guarrentee Id have you smootching dukks kiester...

no way you could tell where the bass was comming from if you stood in a room blindfolded and someone moved a sub around... although you may hear a difference in response as I was saying, you wouldnt be able to point and say where it was comming from....
