To Delay or Not to Delay??

I would like to swap my eclipse for an alpine piece that has time correction and see what I can do with my kicks. Right now the driver is staged like this: Width is pretty much pillar to pillar. Height is just above the dash. Center is just a hair left of center.
The passenger is staged like this: The width is a little narrow on the left side, about over the steering wheel. The right is basically at the piller and center is just right of center. Height is the same as driver side.
Now is I had time correction, I would think I would only be able to improve one seat or the other right? For me I would still want both seats to sound good, so i don't think time correction would bennifit me.
Now, my Jeep Grand Cherokee on the other hand where I don't have the option to do kicks and it will never see a compition, I think time correction would work well. I would only really care about the driver because thats the only place I would sit. Even if I was in the passenger seat, I could adjust it to suit that seat.

i suppose it comes down to wheather or not you want great sound for one seat or good sound for both, and wheather or not your competing, i dont compete, so to set up for great one seat sound was easy, but the pxah700 gives you six presets, so perhaps one of these days i will get around to making a preset for both seats, but seeing as how the only time i spend in the passengers seat im likely loaded and not particularily concerned about imaging etc, i will be content with how it is now, to each his own, pretty fun discussion though

I'm not nit-picking, you werent the one who brought up the example, but to me it just cant be simplified to that extent.

i believe that both fw and i are aware of the difference between level and time. my test were done real world in my own vehicle and the difference was dramatic to say the least, i think that the assumtion in this thread had to be that anyone responing knows the difference between level and time and would have allowed for that in there evaluations
