back to the start. what kind of center do u have. and im gonna guess its powered by the ms-8. that right there limits your total output. from my experience with this ms-8. i have at the moment ms-8 powered center and tweets and amp powered mids and rears.
and that poping noise is an over eq to the sub. all channels have to me matched at close as possible output wize to tune properly. sooo pink noise and make it sounds all equal from center to front to doors to sub...
im subless again myself but i play with the ms-8 everyday to start noticing some problems and how to fix em... i had poping noise from my center. and thats because my gains on my amp was not matched output wize to the center channel. to i tryed pink noise and level match everything and it sounds great now

Listen, too many consumers get caught in the trap of hearing about "Stuff", buying it and having no clue how it works, how to install it or how to actually make it work. Then all of a sudden, that "stuff" is advertised as garbage all over the internet. Or they take it to a car audio shop that is not familiar with the "stuff" in hopes that it gets installed right. The odds are 100% against you if it's not something the shop has experience and sells on a regular basis. Remember this......... I've never met anyone that knows everything about everything, outside of DUKK, so don't let your car become the learning tool for someone else's mistakes. It's bad planning. Use the simple but effective old saying every time.......... measure 10 times but only cut once.

ok first off when you did the initial set up where was the volume set on the deck? next where is the volume set on the ms-8 processor? also when doing set up turn the gains right off on the sub amp!! also i hope you are only using the front left and right inputs off the ms-8 from the deck. dont use anymore. The circuity in the ms-8 is meant to decode from just two channels. Now dont worry about the head unit. its frequency range goes far above and below what a human can hear so its just fine. now it may not have built in eq, time alignment, flashing lights, bluetooth, ect but the sq is the same as my dex-p99rs to the human ear. I have the documents upon request to back up my statements.
