go out and try: EURYTHMICS- greatest hits.

its cheap and has some of the cleanest tracks I've ever heard.

the mid bass is amasing

anyone disagree.

I'm really hoping to hear that new Evanescence cd on a properly tuned system....I've heard Brng Me To Life.. I agree, its good to.

How come nobody has mentioned Pink Floyd?

I have all their cd's and I think they are some of the best recorded cd's I own, next to Metallica and Immaculate by Madonna(stop laughing)

I especially like Echoes,it has most of thier best songs and it sounds great.

Thumbs up

Lots of country sounds awesome, I have to pick up brothers in arms sometimes.
IASCA 2002 (much better music then the 90's)
Brooks & Dunn or Tracy Lawrence
Santana's Greatist hits !
Boxcar Racer (Recorded much better then Blink, drums and guitar place very nicely)
Puddle of Mudd (Blurry and Drift & Die)
Tool's most recent
Rush Chronicles
U2's Rattle & Hum & the Joshua Tree to a lesser degree

The Joshua Tree Seems recorded very quite, there is a major lack of sub frequencies. I really loved the 2nd song on Rattle & Hum "Van Dameins Land". Sounds really smooth, but recorded very quite. So I ripped it to my computer, trimmed the crowd niose off the front and normalized it which trippled the volume.

James Newton Howard or anything from the Shefield Labs Collection will really give your system a workout. The sound is so crystal clear it will even make a factory system sound somewhat decent.
Another few oldies but goodies from my old Iasca days which will give your subs and amp a real workout is Techmaster Bass and Bachbuster(basicly its Bach on viagra)

Agrees w/ Icon, Eurthmics Greatest Hits - awsome highs and some good thump. Savage Gardens [the orange disk] Chumbawamba Tubthumper.

paul simon - graceland is awesome...

i highly recommend the RUSH movie soundtrack composed by eric clapton. track 9 is a nice long blues duo with Buddy guy, it's excellent.

rage against the machine tosses the sound all over the place as well

You guys should try Jesse Cook - Gravity. Wonderfully recorded classical/world beat (kinda hard to describe it) guitar. The drums are great as well, not earth shattering, but sounds great.
