Has anyone tested out the Resident Evil soundtrack on a good system? I watched the movie at my friends place and the sound in that movie is amazing.. I believe the soundtrack was also produced by Marilyn Manson.. but I'm not sure..

No, you cannot buy the IASCA disc in store.

As to the original/internet question, this is what I had posted earlier in this thread. Read the whole thread cuz there is lots of good recommendations:

One thing I've noticed is that doing my own CD burns with MP3s taken off Kazaa and then converted to regular audio format when burned onto the CD, you really can hear the lesser quality of sound that the MP3 conversion creates. I know that an MP3 can be made to CD quality and the 'quality' number is indictive of that. Virtually all of my MP3s I download are 128-160, which I know isn't 300+ but almost all of the song I find to download are 128-160. The odd one I find over 200 is like a 2 hour download. Anyway, what I'm getting at is I made a 'SQ' disc with a bunch of songs I knew would sound good but I'm realizing as I listen to them in my car that the MP3 conversion flaws are becoming more apparent. I get all pissed off thinking it's my system and then I put in a 'real' CD and it sounds good

having a good decoder for your mp3s is also very important to having better quality sounding disks.
