I would say yes. It's overkill. I would just do a 3-way front stage.

lol i tought this was your complete setup for sec...till i read the title again

definetly overkill...3 way is the way to go

personally i would do a 6.5" for the lows 4" midbass and 1" tweets

the 6.5s are they the audiom 6w? or mid out of 165w component?

One 6.5 is out of a 165W3 kit, the other is indeed an Audiom 6W.

One "sick" friend is suggesting I power it all with monoblocks...
