a easy way to compare the RF to the tube amp.... maybe put the Dayton speakers in the car and hook it up to the RF amp and see what it sounds like.
btw: the Sennheizer HD-600 is a good sounding headphone.

The Dayton II is a well designed DIY speaker, and its designed by people that knows their stuff. They didn’t just throw the speaker into a box and call it a day.. even it is cheap! But comparing it to the car install…. woofer in the door, and just slapping tweeter right next to the windshield, with hardly any x-over tuning and acoustic compensation…. How could you expect it to sound even close to the Dayton and “specially” with the tube amp.

Currently I am trying to brown bread the rear deck and hope that will improve bass. I can still hear higher bass from rear even the sub is at 50hz/18db.
After removing the rear 6x9, and brown bread the rear deck, midbass/bass improves so much now I felt midbass is not lacking anymore. Man I should have done this 2 years ago it seems bass was traped inside the trunk before. The high smooths out a bit too, but still go some rough edges. For example words like "she", "was" has that shhh sound that hurts sometimes. According to another member fellow, the this problem will go away and tn52 will become much smoother after 3 months of usage so I will wait. Other than that I am very happy with the sound now
