Going three way will be next year's thing, at least.

Let me take pics tomorrow cuz I really don't know much about these stuff. I am more into headphone, i got a pair of HD600 and a Corda Aria amp. I always use the headphones and a audiophile cd as sound reference to compare systems I hear.
I know the rockford amp is ok but is it that bad compared to a tube amp? Maybe that's why the midrange has such big difference eh?

u know there's some popular speaker diy project (not kits) on the internet that shows you how to do ur crossover, what components(resistors, caps, etc) to use, the enclosure specs, and what drivers (brand, model) to use, etc. Most of these projects are referring to partsexpress.com for materials. I wanted to do one particular project but i didn't have the tools especially for the enclosure so I just bought a finished one from a guy in states. The materials only cost around $100 and the guy sold me for $150. The speaker actually sounds amazing for $150.
Edit: I managed to find this particular "project" web page: The Dayton II Project

12AU7 - GE Jan 3814A
EL34 - I tried to pull each one out and the text was all gone or not readable, I guess it's due to the heat
