k, not sure if anyone suggested this in the 9 pages so far, but have you checked if the mids are out of phase with each other? If the mids seem to be moving lots for midbass but you aren't hearing that much it might be the issue.

 

This has been checked and no phase is not the issue in this case. Thanks for the suggestion.

I will thinking to get some closed cell foam in the doors to absorb standing wave and to decrease the internal door volume. That should do some improvement.

 

Now I am really digging the idea of getting an audiocontrol eq, considering I am on the way of setting up a laptop RTA. Hopefully it will help me find out what exactly is missing.
