i'm from cullman Al and not everyone from alabama runs around barefoot and molests their relatives. i'm sure some do but not me, and i dont assume that everyone from canada thinks its aboot time to play some hockey eh. i'll try adjusting the amp thanks. the shop that installed it had the amp turned way down and told me to adjust it after the subs had 10hrs of play on them i just gradually turned it up i really didnt notice the distortion untill we hooked them up in my friends car.

Your amp is probably not installed in the riight place.
The only correct placement for those amps is directly behind the rear wheels. 'Specially if your driveway is on a slant LOL.

That only applies to the ones with flames (which must be installed flames up as well).

From the "state of Alabama", "poor sound quality" Audiobahn amplifier.... Just seems like a farse to me, but oh well ill entertain it lol.

Turn youre bass boost off, eq and bass setting were you usually set them, start with the gain turned down all the way, now turn h/u to 3/4 full volume.
Now start turning gain up until it sounds distorted, then turn it back just a bit until distortion is gone and youre done.

And yes btw we do think aboot playing hockey most of the time lmao!

i figured it out for the most part the h/u has SW1 and SW2 both control different things but the 2nd one has 3 different ways to adjust it the first one only has 2. I just found the 3rd way to adjust on SW2 my bass goes from -18 to +6 it was set on 0 i turned it down to -8 the SQ is much better. still gonna adj the amp some thanks.
