What with all the thumbs?
As you can see from the link provided. A bass trap is easy to make. Corners are the most effective places for them, but pretty much any wall could probably be improved by adding sound control devices.
The front speakers for my system are a quad array. Like a 4 on dice. The tweeter will be in the center of the four mids. A pair of 8" mid bass woofers will flank the mids on either side. Ther is still a chance I will use use mid bass per speaker, but actual tests will need to be done before I really decide.
More pics will come soon.

Seriously though, ROXUL SAFE AND SOUND! go to home depot spend the $40 for a 8 piece pack... You won't regret it. IF anyone is interested in how to make frames for them ( I have a really simple design)... PM me. Mine cost me about $15 each including all materials (Frame [wood], cover material, screws and the Safe and Sound)... 15 bux and a little elbow grease is well worth the 2'x4' sonic black hole.
for your typical room I would say grab a pack (8 batts) and make 8 single batt acoustic panels. apply them to first reflection points on the side walls, 1 behind each main speaker, 1 on the ceilings first reflection point and use the rest on the rear wall.
For the superchunks... u might need to buy a couple packs... follow the direction in the link I posted.
I am one happy camper with my results... It's a great way to make a great home audio experience.
I'm assuming this statement wasn't meant for me. I'm pretty sure iv mentioned the amount of absorption my room is being given.
Putting one bass trap in each rear corner of your room is like putting one piece of deadening on each door. It will help, but you cant expect miracles from it.

The "statement" was just a rant I thought I would go on ( Not targeted at anyone specific... but instead everyone and anyone who happens to read this thread).
With bass traps and reflections points done the diff. is night and day.
Some guys like to say this," a $500 dollar bookshelf speaker in an appropriately treated room will sound better than a $2500 bookshelf speaker in a untreated room. Personally I have never made such a comparison... But I have moved a couple sets i have into different rooms here and there... and the result was astonishing! Guess where they all sounded best? In my treated studio. And let me tell you (ANYONE), the difference in many cases were pretty extreme.
anyways I am done ranting for now.
Good luck with the room, Projectors own!
