eD only sells direct. I have purchased from them and the customer service was top-notch; they are excellent at communicating with their customers and have generated a very loyal following largely because of this.

I don't know anything about eD lying to their customers, or if their products are rebadged. If they are rebadged, they wouldn't be the only car audio company to be doing so. In my experience they have been very open with how their products are developed and seem to have good knowledge of their technology. Check the eD Forum on ICIXSound.com for more info.

If you had a chance to hear the AVI that was in DEFRO's dash you would be a believer

I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with an AVI or Focal product in the right application.

If you were willing to take a chance an eD product might also get you there at a lower price.

I've run a 12o sub and loved it. Now I'm running their latest gear (check sig) and am very happy with the price/performance ratio.

You pretty much gotta order direct from them online and deal with the ups shipping. It's not everyones cup of tea, but for me if I wanted avi or focal, i'd probably have to order them online also.

A mini sub up front would be great.

I heard a 10" in the glove box of the DLS Audi A4 firing downward. It was awesome. Scott Buwalda also heard it and commented that it was one of the highlites of the car when we heard it at CES 2005. So I'd say go 8" or 10" in the glove box in a custom enclosure.
