W-7 vs ID-Max

But to be honest the ID-max is a nice sub not saying its not, but really and truely after 1kw it begins to get stressed out alot (lotsa compression sets in at this mark) W7 is a superior driver. my 13 handled as much power as a pair of id max's and took it with ease.

Had 4 idmax's they were loud yes, they looked cool, but the w7 sounded better, dropped lower and handled more power.

but for your application 850 rms i think the max may be a better bet. if using more than 1kw i say w7 all the way.
