I find tweed too 1992-ish. It had it's time. Now it just looks old. Just my opinion though. I hear it's hard to wrap with also. For kicks, vinyl is my first choice, carpet 2nd, and then texture paint.

We are talking about kicks here, mud, rain, dirt, gum are the enemy. But a fabric that works with the interior theme could look good ... it just wont look good for long

if you want to get fancy and you have very gentle feet, try alcantara ($$$$$$$$$$$) but killer look!
in my case i have several panels that come stock covered in suade and it would look like a killer extension of the car.

otherwise, just stick to colour matched vinyl.
