Battery suggestions.

Hey guys. I got 2 Alpine type X's on the way ( 10 inch ) and will be getting an amp to power those ( possibly 2 amps to power each ). now i am told that i will need a new battery and i knew i would cuz my shitty system now causes some dimming in the headlights at night. I have the options of a

Optima Yellow Top #D34 which has 750 CCA

for 250$

or the

Optima Yellow Top #D31T which has 900 CCA

for 285$

Would the 750 cca be good enough or will the 900 make that big of a difference?

dimming

its always a good idea to upgrade your battery, i use an optima yellow top (i like having dual terminals) but if your experiencing dimming the battery might not be your fix.

look into doing a big three and make sure you always use at least 4ga wire off your battery lead into your amps. also the ga of your grounds should be the same size as your power lines, and grounds should be no longer than 12".

if your still experience dimming, you might have to move into a high ouput alt.
but go the cheap route first.

Adding a stiffening cap will also help with that, but your alternator and battery must be able to keep up with the demands of the system as mayhem suggested.
