a) set the HPF around 50hz
b) bridge the amp. it'll put out double the power you're giving it now

hmm, the mtx site says that this amp does 200rms x2 bridged at 4ohms. the speakers max power handling says 150w and rms is 75.

could i possibly wire the left side speakers in series, and then the right side speakers in series so then each speaker on each side will get around 100w? i dont know if what im talking about is even advisable but heres a paint picture just to see:

Try it bridged, but keep the gain relitivly low. My friend it feeding a tweeter rated for 30rms close to 75rms without any issues. Its all in the power of the gain ****

tried a little bit of everyone's advice tonight in the COLD... sudden snow jebus! shovelled once and saw the job reappear in 5 minutes again lol. anyways, cut out the bottoms of my enclosure... let me just say.. i think that was the whole problem by itself, N130gV2 helped me out with the tuning before hand but i appreciate everyones help. i sat in my car after installing everything back and listened without the sub playing. wow i feel like i atleast have the mids of a regular stock car now lol. not much compared to pretty much all the other installs here, but hey, its a nice step coming from absolutely 0 midbass at all to 100rms of it now (gonna bridge the channels later to feed them). the opening that i made now points towards where kicks installs would actually go, under the dash. all in all, gettin closer to the potential of my speakers slowly and likin' every step.
