Inverting sub

I'm planning on inverting my sub. It's an 10" I've gone through all the pictures I have in my files. Not 1 has any protection other that the basket. How about thw wiring? Any ideas or pictures? What would be needed? I understand that nothings perfect but...

If you want the extra box volume or want to show off the magnet then just flip the sub around and swap the polarity if you want (although that usually dosen't even matter)

Presto... you are done...

I stick with regular mounting unless you have a reason to do otherwise... some speakers will make vent noise, ect..

It's an space issue and it looks good via inverted. What I'm looking for is not the wireing or the install itself. When an sub is in the regular way we can put an grill or somthing on it. When inverted then what? It's going into the back of my "X". Just don't want anything bumping into the magnet or somthing. Thinking of some bars or somthing.
