Strange Problem...
Hey, we installed a small system into my friends Jeep and are having problems with it. For some reason or another the sub will work sometimes he turns that Jeep on, and sometimes not. We have tried 4 different amps we we know work... same problem with all of them.
All connections look good and were double (and tripple) checked. We re-secured/crimped the ground and power.
RCA's are brand new, cant be them though because I used a headphone that splitts into two rcas from my mp3 player, still didnt work.
The amp is turning on and getting power. Its just like sometimes it decided to power the sub and reproduce music.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

What type of Jeep is it? Is it a Grand cheroke with infinity sound? Are u useing the factory head unit? I added a amp to a factory Infinty system in one of these once and found out that some time the input for the amp was too high and worked Maybe 1 out of 4 times.
