Is all depends on what you working on. Sealed for me is good.
correctly built ported boxes will be louder than correctly built sealed boxes every time

Sealed, ported, and bandpass all have there own unique sound to them... depends what your sub is recommended for. I prefer ported, but my friend had a bandpass system and it was dam good until he blew the box apart. I dont like the sound of sealed subs... not that its not as loud, its just cant pick up some of the bass aswell as other types of boxes.

Ive been convinced via this Thread that boxes that have some strange vented port will sound " better " will make a ported and try that, and tested with the db meter

I dont think you get more db out of your sub by having a ported/bandpass setup, you just get a much nicer sound.
