1995 Dodge Caravan (Lost Keys!)

For standard (non-chipped) keys i don't think you should pay more then 20 bux tops at the dealer. I got another key for my eclipse last year for 9 bux, cut, not copied.

I apologize for bumping a somewhat old thread, but I did eventually find the replacement keys I had stored somewhere. On a side note, the key that the dealership provided didn't work so I'm glad I found it. In either case, everyone should go out tomorrow and make a replacement key for their cars; you never know when you'll need them!

I used to have a '94 caravan, and it was about the easiest car in the world to break into. I locked my keys in the car once, and the highschool shop teacher came out to the parking lot with a slim flathead screwdriver, fished it in under the door handle and unlocked it. I couldn't believe that the mechanism was exposed when the handle is lifted, but it is. Doing this will crack the trim, but that wouldnt matter much to a real theif.
