Dimebag Darrell Dead !!!
#22
Maybe I'm missing something, but what the hell does Monster Magnet have to do with anything?
Also, The cops can search me all they want, I don't smoke and drive and I never carry anything on me, so if having a tatoo of one of my favourite guitarists nicknames is reason for cops to search me, then I envite them to because I have nothing to hide.
When Hendrix died I know lots of people got tatoo's, in fact I know a guy recently that had Jimi's face done on his chest. So Jimi was a huge stonner(sp) Does that mean it was wrong for the guy to get a tatoo of one of his hero's? And now automatically the cops should harass him? It's the same for me with the Dimebag situation, as a guitarist myself, when a GREAT guitarist like Dime dies, it's a sad and emotional time for me and many others, so in honour of him, I'll get his name tatooed on my arm so I won't forget the great things he accomplished in music, and to let everyone else that sees it know that his music meant alot to me.
Was it wrong for the US to build that huge memorial wall in Washington for all the soldiers that died at war? Is it not pretty much the same idea as a tatoo? If your dad died tomorrow, wouldn't you get his name tatoo'd somewhere? I would, and I know TONS of people that think the same way.
