Does anyone know how to?
I was just wiondering is anyone knows how to shrink pics from over 300,000 bytes to 50,000 bytes? i wanted upload a couple pics from the NSC show that was here in vancouver this past weekend. anyways if someone could tell me, i would greatly appreciate it.. thanks in advance.

You can resize - generally most web graphics are 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 and you can also resample or adjust the compression level of the image too.
Or, you could also upload to a free picture host too... they usually have much larger image allocations..

well i wen tto the imaging thingy and nothing about what you guys said... i'm new to this anyways. but the size of my pics are 1280 x 960. we use Exif viewer. but i will eventually figure this baby out..lol.thanks anyways
you could try saving them as jpg's or gif's, depending on if they are bitmap files. I've shrunk some down from 1.5mb to 150kb. no real loss of quality unless you zoom in.
if they are jpg's, I've done the shrinking using photoshop. works well, but ACDSee will do the trick as well.
