Why not the new Dodge Durango Doug ?? I personally don't like the Escapes, I've ridden in one of my friends and I found it to damn small for a truck. And if you're going for space versus your cavalier right now, you're not really gaining much space man in my opinion.

I'd go with the Mazda Tribute out of your choices, my cousin owns one and I've not found any problem with them other than the where the governor kicks ... lol But other than that Tribute and/or Durango are my choices.

How can you recommend the Tribute after saying the Escape is too small? The Tribute is basically a rebadged Escape and vice versa.

Not to mention Durango's aren't exactly the best choice when it comes to gas mileage.

Put it this way I am not looking for that much space to drive around a hockey team lol, and yeah the Mazda Tibute/ Escape are the same vehicle lol... Durango there was a Durango however that's prob worse on gas then the Jeep would be... I ran into a guy at the liquore store with an 03 Liberty and he was like don't listen to what you hear, I can drive from London to Kingston and back and cost him 30$ granted this was back when it was 78/79 cents/L... well I don't have an plans of 5 hours road trips anytime soon but he said the thing was great, winter time he said it's abit rough when using the 4*4 but other then that no complaints.... Also in regards to space if we put the baby seat on the 40 split of the back seat I can put down the 60 split which creats a decent amount of space for what I need... Right now ith the cavalier I can put Kaed's stroller/playpen and it's basically full then I stiff on the back seats.. least with the Jeep all will fit in the back nicely!!

Because I've been inside the Tribute and to me it appeared way bigger than the Escape I was in. My cousin owns a Tribute and it seemed a hell of a lot better than the Escape.

Joe - I like the look of the Durangos and if I was buying something that big gas mileage $$ surely wouldn't be a worry lol Granted my sister owns a brand new Acura MDX ... lol

Go with whats best for u and ur budget Doug, test drive these vehicles first.

Didn't mean to offend you but it's the same as saying the Cavalier is roomier than the Sunfire. Doesn't seem like the most logical of opinions that's all.

Doug, I think you'll enjoy that Liberty just fine. As with all second-hand 4x4's though I hope it comes with a good warranty.

They are throwing in 1 year unlimited Km power train on it, even though engine has 60,000km on it, my concern was the trainy and .. soo the guy said he'd throw in 1 year unlimited power train warranty...Soo I am covered in that regards for a year then I can chose to add another warranty provided i do it before the current one runs out..

So yeah the muffler did pass the safety however the sales guy said it didn't look like it was gonna last past summer so they had them replace it, then noticed the trainy pan leak so there gonna flush the trainy, replace the filter and seal of course soo least the trainy will have new fluids, I will prob get the engine done as well... might do the engine flush clean her out and prob go synthetic... buddy who gets his jeep done said it's about 50$ and they check everything else granted this is at the dealership directly....

Soo me being so picky on to fix is taking up time for me to get my new wheels lol... they are currently working on the cruise trying to figure out why it's not working... I hate waiting it sucks!!!
