to say no one is profiting from the war is a joke, look who the first reconstruction contract went to, dick cheneys old company.... im sure they made the lowest bid right? and dicks old buddies didnt make a phone call inviting him over for steak and beers....
the country as a whole wont profit, but a whole hell of alot of individuals sitting in penthouse offices sending cases of cuban cigars to their buddies in the oval office are getting filthy rich, and all they gotta do is throw a sympathy card here or there when one of their lucky employees has taken one for the team in the middle of a sandbox while they were putting up a powerline.....
thats how government works, cretien made TONS of deals like that in the last year, setting up his friends with major contracts, so that he can live comfortably off the kickbacks for years.
i say fawk it, keep canadians out of iraq and afganistan, im not nearly as worried about an iraqi shooting a canadian, as i am a marine with a hard on to kill something and be a hero puttin one into a construction worker.
let the US have their vietnam II. its all a media campaign anyway, a new study out shows the US hasnt even come close to shutting off the money to al queda and other large terrorist groups, which was their biggest goal after 911, they are failing miserably to make the world a better place and make their own citizens more secure.
do u really think its better not having a clue where binladen and saddam are? rather then at least knowing they are there.
i personally would rather know theres a serial killer living next door then, "well he could be next door, or he might be gone......"

yes i do believe dick just got caught with his hands in the cookie jar
i seen on the news he overcharged the us government like $60 million dollars in fuel sales
i think that most politicials are overpriced lawyers taking there last cash in and helping out all there buddies at the same time
few governments are clean
even at the local levels
usually they have had lots of practice doing positive spins and lying to everybody by the time there elected
i think the problem with the us is they are so patriotic they are blindsided by corruption and scandal
