regular pennzoil 5w30 every 4000k. Just did an engine flush and it was great. My mechanic does it for me, just adds 2 small caps brake cleaner fluid into the oil filler and runs the car for 5 minutes before doing the oil change. Just a small tip for those who do their own oil changes.

Ya i use 20/50 also. I find it protects better especially when you travel on the highway.anyways that my input. My brother inlaws are heavy duty mechanics so i guess they know best..lol.. anyways take care

In the summer, i run 2-stroke oil...in the winter, i dont even use oil. I figure, 'whats the bother?!' [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

least u dont drive the ferarri enzo... apparently if u use any other oil in the thing besides the factory specific stuff, (750$ an oil change) u void the warranty on the engine...... that and the fuel economy on the car sucks... ud have to fill up like 6 times from calgary to edmonton..... food for thought...

My whole family has used 20w50 for years. The high performance engines needed it like the BOSS 302 that was in my dad's 73' Mustang and the LT-1 that was in the 78' Malibu.

The normal street cars like it too, I used to run it in the Volvo and the Explorer.

Then we found out about the Lucas oil additive. So we use that with every oil change now.

The Lucas oil additive is very good. I use a quality dino oil and the Lucas additive every 3 months or 5000k.
