In order for something to do well (in particular any "Car Show") you gotta grab outside attention (IMO) ...
Meaning, what would be wrong with something in a major Canadian city able to bring in the most people possible?

You gotta remember, realistically besides the people competing, you would hope to bring in people just to attend (and watch) and bring the cash flow to the event ... which means it has to be at a desirable location.

Just my opinion on the question at hand, based on facts that I wouldn't go to Winnipeg but I'd go to Toronto or northern GTA because I live in Toronto. And I'm not competing.
