The light on the Blade insert will flash red when programming tach. Where is the tach wire from the brain connected under the hood?

lol, like hell i would shut a diesel off for any time less than 20min.
shutting it off the time would be a great way to reduce the life of your engine. and if its more than -30 outside that sucker is staying on all night and day thats all there is to it!

I had trouble with the low tach signal on F350 diesel. Ford offers a tach signal booster but the truck has it's own anti grind software so I set it to voltage sense instead of tach mode and maxed out the crank time. It works 100% perfect. I'm not sure if the Dodge/Cummins has it's own anti grind on the starter but if it does, give this a try, it worked for me. Good luck!

I had a hard starting GM that I needed to do the same thing with. When you started it with the key, on the first try you'd need to slighty goose the throttle to get it to light, and by doing the same thing you described, the extra crank time gave it the extra fuel it needed to fire with the remote start. Tach is best however, and once he fixes the fuel pump we'll be going back to tach mode

if it was the wrong tach wire it wouldn't start either since you couldnt even program tach learn.

i would just reset the blade, they often do lose their info.......

pull it out and hold the programming button as u push it back in, when it starts blinking let go of the button

might as well reprogam the remotes along with that
