Souns good. Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll post a picture when its all done.

Just curious why you wouldn't connect the speakers to the deck?

Because unlike your average car, a boat has nothing to contain the sound. You need much more power to be able to hear things proplerly.

Today I went into radio shack and the guy there sold me a set of sound stream 6x9s for $100 and a 10" Pioneer Sub for $50...

He looked at my amp and said it has enough power for it plus another set of mains if i need them...

Im gonna plug my ipod in for now...and eventually get a deck so I can adjust bass...
