well since the project is due next wednesday im gonna spray paint it all black for now. once i get it all put together then next semester im going to finish it on my 4th period spare by putting in some mirrors and hopefully finding SOME way of lighting green (my car is green) from the inside. I cand find anything worth the cash aside from shitty led tubes from walmart that are too small and overpriced...

And yeah im gonna silicone/seal-in-some-other-fashion the outta the cups and pretty much everything else too lol.

i'd suggest spray painting the inside white. later on down the road if you wanna add lighting inside, it will glow nicely with the white paint.

Wow thanks for that site! I was looking around at the stuff on there and I see some stuff I like. I didnt see any EL tape but heres what I found. Which would be brightest and easy to use? (the terminal cups have extra connections on them for the lighting).

EL Wire

Cold Cathodes

Led Strip

I have used all
The el wire is basically wire so you would have to hot glue it or something to the supports, el tape comes as fixed width tape and even square pieces. led tape is leds fixed in plastic strip
Now pro and con of each, led tubes etc they are leds which are partly directional, getting even glow lighting out of one or two strips may be difficult. electroluminescent tape is like 0.5mm thick wire is 1.5mm both have completely even light distribution but not as bright as others, (but good straight on as in you can use it on the outside even)
Cold cathodes are neon tubes, I worry that they will break from the vibration and pressure inside the box.
You could always just wire up some leds in series and place them angled where ever you like and point them in different directions.
(I had all three lighting products on behind or under my desk in university pulsing to the music lol)

just remember that these are meant to be plugged into a computer power supply, so you'll need to wire it to your amp a certain way. black wire to you ground and yellow wire to your remote turn on.

the other thing to consider is I know that 2 12" tubes and a strip of el tape drew over 1 amp (starting giving my 1a power supply trouble)
