Got some more done on the box today... All the holes for the plexi are drilled except for the divider which got cut and properly aligned today as well.

Here's a few new pics. I'll put up more when it's got the temporary paint job.

not sure if the black on the outside is temp too but you can see the woodgrain through the spray paint. If final I suggest doing like I said and going a coat of body filler to cover the imperfections then prime and enamel paint wet coat to get it nice and shiny.

I went with flat white but the clear coat finish gave it a shine. It's all supposed to be temporary for the marks but if I don't feel like carpeting it I may just sand it and repaint it doing a much better job.

I got the lights in for the box
3 days off of xoxide.com. 4 12" green cold cathodes.

Now i just have to figgure out how to install them in the car... They are meant for a computer and so two cold cathodes plug into a dual inverter which then plugs into the computer's 4 pin male/female power supply plugs. I don't know what the inverter does or how it works so i don't know if I will need it when I hook them up to the car.

anyone have any ideas?

I can help with that
its very easy being that your computer also runs off 12V DC
The inverted that the tubes plug into multiplies the voltage up to 10,000 + volts at very low current.
What you need to do to hook them up in your car is;
The molex plug should only have 2 wires attached to it, one black and one yellow or red. The black is ground the other color is the +12V, what I recommend is soldering those two wires together keep them close and run another 16gauge or so wire to your distribution block or where ever else your sourcing power for the car.
Let me know if you dont fully understand.

I run a cathode in my car. i connected the yellow cable to the remote wire on my amp and the black wire to teh ground of my amp. that way the cathode will only come on when my radio is on.
