For rabbit joints, how far into 1" MDF would you lock the pieces together?

probably using screws with the #10 shank was helping the edges split. I shoulda went for a smaller shank.

Still man, you tackled the project and saw it through... Congrats.

It should be much louder than your last setup.

You should always predrill with a small bit for screws but a brad nailer is what I have found to work best. Much quicker and less headaches.

Thanks DS.. not quite done yet, I have some ideas .. It will end up as a "pretty " box I hope . We're hoping to wrap it and redo and wrap the high/mids speaker pods in grey vinyl by the spring.

If we get lucky and the ports come in before the show, we're thinking of testing with just the 2 subs(with the other closed off) and hear if it's worth trying Barrie in the box with just those 2.
It would be 3.5 cubes each on 1500-2000w total... I have little idea how the subs will react in that many cubes? Is there such a thing as too many cubes? Old box was only 1.5 per.... whatever...lol

Gonna miss TDS at Barrie bro.
Hey... I guess someone else gets a shot at the 39.9 trophy now huh

Yuli... lmao now...

its worse when you have to make the trip every Monday morning. but its mad quiet at night so its easy to blaze one and enjoy a pizza roll up from New Orleans and hit the sack, or keep the neighbours up with all the laughing. and the drive back was always fun so it never seemed that long, but maybe its because I was coming home

Far enough from T.O for sure.
I was thinking of trying to talk the ONLY stereo shop owner in town( an ex SPL'r) into hosting a show next year. Then I realized...who the hell would want to make the trip!!! fisherman and retirees

but at least its close to my favorite beaches, it has a Tim Hortons and New Orleans Pizza...mmmmmmm..I see we'd get along fresh
And our lame asses are actually some of the loudest around.. lol
