Of course you can. And nowhere did I say you could not. The 6010CS is a bad example anyway as IMO they are inherently horrible (and ridiculously overpriced in Canada).

I'm not currently using them, but I've got a few pairs of Morel/Macrom tweeters laying around myself. I like them because of the low Fs as this allows for many tuning options. Nice stuff ...

I don't understand the comment about deleting my account ???

I do, the one time I had a customer come into my store all pissed off at this that and the other thing, my reply was, see that door, beat me to it, then reconsider how you approach me and then I will resolve your problem. Customer left, thought about it for a minute or so and came back in with a different attitude and all problems went away, both for one screw not put in and how he treated me.

6talldog, consider what I have said above and perhaps then the "delete your account" might make sense, come back to the threads with a slightly different outlook on things is what is being asked.

You have some good background by the looks of it, consider the method in which you deliver it is all. The site can always use people with good backgrounds.

On a side note Newb, that was the best line I have seen in a long time, tone deaf and high.....

Point taken. But I do find it odd that I could be threatened with a ban for what I said, or how I said it. I did not level any personal attacks or challenge anyone's fact based knowledge. I did challenge certain contentions, albeit in a somewhat arrogant manner I'll admit, but at the time I was trying to be emphatic about certain "urban myths" in the car audio world. The perpetuation of some of these myths is a pet peeve of mine, but you are correct in that I should be more diplomatic in the way I initially respond to them. But the same should go for others, I will also add.

For a member to imply that they can ban you is also improper and oversteps their bounds on the site. That decision is one for the moderators and administrators of the site only. I agree that some of the replies from members of the board should also be improved, one step at a time I guess. I am guilty of poor replies over the time that I have been here as well, no one is immune to it.

LOL -- Good point

There was some good advice given to you... listen to speakers and then buy the ones you like -- install them with care (and dampening material...) and enjoy. The problem is that these threads attract different opinions and theories...

There will always be the post from an Audiophile who is used to high end very expensive gear who appreciates what it can do... and the counterpoint is someone who says $600 tops will buy 80% of the performance of $1500 gear.... both have their merits

We sometimes forget that we are discussing an audio SYSTEM and you require BALANCE -- I do not see much point in hooking up $600 components if you are using deck power or a $100 amp.... On the other hand, some components work better than others, coaxials in a custom kick pod can sound much better than $1500 separates installed improperly, etc.

6talldog... I was harsh in my reply to your posts, but mainly in response to their tone moreso than their validity...

I am a subjectionist by nature, so when addressed with the double blind A/B testing emperical school of theory, I will always disagree. Music is perhaps the most personal of the arts; moreover, the reproduction of music will always generate a plethora of varying methods and opinions about those methods.

I would have gone K2P's at that price, especially if they were a legit pair and not the known counterfeit ones. It takes 5 business days to ship to Ontario with ground shipping or overnight for air service.

they are a legit pair.. this is a good shop... i just cant justify almost double the price for the k2p's... as they dont sound twice as good lol and the v2's are in stock... is 450 good for v2's?
