I agree. thats anice set, I've had good results setting them up. I still prefer the DIY route, but thats just me...

3 way is out of the question yes, it will probably not fit, so lets say i get the tweater and a woofer/driver or w/e do i still need to get that thing that both the tweater and woofer hooks into than hook that to my amp?

not if you plan on using the x-overs in your deck.
but you will need an amp Ch. for each speaker. (4ch.)

no im using external amps, and explain the crossovers, lets say i was trying to power it all off my deck thr tweaters would be wired to frount chanels, and the woofers to the rear?

dont i lose mu rear channel then for my rear speakers and if not woulnt it be in mono f/r so the same sound would come from the rear as the frounts?

yes. by switching the deck to 3-way mode, you loose rear fill. if you want rear fill, then you'll have to run external x-overs.

ok so would this work, run it on f/r/s-w and than run my rear 6/9s, than for frount just buy a external cross over?

yeah i want my rears, i guese i could run comps in the rear and run a extra 4 ch's, but im not into that mono f/r kind of thing. but yeah whats a good ext cross over, and putting myu deck x over on f/r/s-w wont confilict with the ext x over will it?

Just get a brand name component set then.
not to jack this thread, but it was always my impression that when you double the impedance, your cutoff freq goes up an octave for lowpass, down an octave for highpass.

that is using a 8 ohm driver on a 4 ohm x-over...

correct me if I'm wrong.
