3 way is out of the question yes, it will probably not fit, so lets say i get the tweater and a woofer/driver or w/e do i still need to get that thing that both the tweater and woofer hooks into than hook that to my amp?
yeah i want my rears, i guese i could run comps in the rear and run a extra 4 ch's, but im not into that mono f/r kind of thing. but yeah whats a good ext cross over, and putting myu deck x over on f/r/s-w wont confilict with the ext x over will it?

If you want to have rears and buy external x-over for fronts, then I don't think going with DIY stuff is a good idea, since most speakers are 8Ohms and you would need the x-over designed for them ... bla bla.. .
Just get a brand name component set then.

that is using a 8 ohm driver on a 4 ohm x-over...
correct me if I'm wrong.
