Car Audio in your area - How popular is it?

I live in East York, though I haven't had any bass going on for the last year, since my old caddy died on me. The trunk in the car I had for the past year was too small to fit the subs.
That's going to change this spring however, just bought an '07 Impala, shouldn't have a problem getting my box in there. Not a fancy system or anything, but it pounds. Can't wait to get it going again, that's for sure!
Danforth is an interesting place to go on the weekend ragardless, hahaha.

Yo, I think we need to do a vote of how many people live here, or have a local East York meet, maybe at the Pape and Cosburn McD's? Or the Best Buy in Leaside, more space there.
And I turn my bass down when I turn onto my street too. I don't like having my neighbours complain. Its an EY state of mind lol

Kinda difficult to give an accurate answer to this IMO. Reason being is that there are more db events compared to traditional sound-offs it seems. And it's usually more so the bass-heads that tend to hang out in parking lots and are actually seen by member here.
There's still lots of people who put time and effort in a more SQ based system but you'll never hear them or see them. Therefor they won't be counted in this thread. My stereo is just one example. If you see me hanging out in a parking lot I'll be on my motorcycle talking bikes instead of showing off my cars stereo. I'm in the east Durham area and all I see around are mostly FS and systems heavy on the entry-level bass end but I'm sure there's still plenty of SQ guys around.

Lots of old people and families in EY, that's why. I know of one grumpy old fart who's responsible for all the freakin speed humps and stop signs getting put all over the place where I live. He'd probably be calling the cops if people were driving by his house with heavy bass.
Where's there a Best Buy in Leaside? I know of the FS at Laird and Eglinton...
