Dude, box was sealed when it did 144.4. Also behind the 3rd row seat, in a big *** minivan. Your box is tuned to 44hz and designed for SPL, my box was designed for SQ. Two entirely different applications. Just your higher tuning alone gives you a nice number on lower power. I only burped them just to see what they would do. Your DD's are a great sub, and you have a good amp (macrom), but DD will never sound like a W6v2.

We'll see what numbas my TF1 15" will do. lol

 

k lol not trying to pick a fight but the sound is all in the person hearing it... SIkk nation made my box... and it is pretty dang musical to me,,,, it goes super low.. but I bet you I paid less for my, amp, and sub than you paid for your 2 jlw7s and I get the same output...

 

15" would be awesome to have .. but I dont have the room for them.... I would love to have 2 15s with a amp for each ....

 

hahahaha, neither am I. I don't fight on forums, only in the ring (and the odd street). Your right about peoples personal hearing, some just have heard more enclosure/sub combos than others. I'm not the one with the JLw7's, & your also right, I paid more for my W6v2's than you did for your entire setup. I remember your threads. I'm simply saying that my 144.4 was done with no SPL gadgets at all, never even turned up my gains. I burped it then went over and competed in SQi right after.

It's all good. Shooting for more SPL this year. We'll see how things go.
