Thumbs up

Well I have been installing car audio since 1987 and the Energy speakers that we have are awesome.I myself think they sound better then the Infinity and the Jbl.I can see them being a very good seller. They are in the same price range as the Infinity. They are worth taking a listen to you won't be disappointed.I go into work this afternoon and if I have time I'm going to build a couple of boxes. We have 10" as well as the 12" subs. And if they sound anything near the rest, they will be awsome as well.

Interesting. So, it took 20 years and a corporate buyout before Howie and Ian finally got off the pot and decided to plunge into the car audio market.

I remember bringing this up with them years ago...

If they kept things up to standards, Energy will own the car audio speaker sales at Future Shop.

I well agree Mach these speakers sound awesome and I too think that they will outsell anything that Future Shop has. It's nice to see some high end but yet a good price product.Energy has made home speakers for years,it's about time they jump into car audio.I like what they did with the 5 1/4" comp.set They have a phasing plug as some may call it in the center on the mid.So you can run them as a comp or coax, they also give you a 6x8 plate for them as they will now bolt right into the Ford and mazda's.They really give you alot of different way to set them up.The crossovers aswell are very sleek very nice set up.I can bet that you will start seeing them in Iasca cars and the will win.

Very cool, I loved my old Energy 22 monitors. wish I still had them. They are not on the FS site. Is there a place to check them out on the web?

Yes smart I know that they are not on the site yet. However I have the spec sheet at work I will bring it home and copy it and send you a copy if you like.I really don't think you will be disappointed when you hear them. They have kevlar cones and are nothing but high class all the way from start to finish. They are very well balanced not to bright and not to much bass just clean crystal clear.Very good for anyone who's is into SQ.

AVI has been assembling their drivers in Canada for along time. And they also sell amps, don't know if the amps are assembled here or not though.

Keep in mind there is a difference between made in canada and assembled in Canada from parts in china or taiwan or the US hehe
