Have you herd the energy's running off a tuned amp?
whats a good speaker those Eclipse's?...The Energy speakers running off a good amp with a decent source will out do most high end brands at the $1000 price point. Trust me I just swaped out my Focals for these and what a difference.

LOL nice one Kevin!
Who really "makes" anything anymore? Remember... Volvos, Hondas, etc are made (really assembled) in Canada too... but then again who cares?
How it sounds, how it works matters most -- but no one really cares, the general public just follows marketing and what is "supposed" to be better -- God bless them and the money they will spending more gear to replace the crap gear that is "supposed" to be better because more marketing dollars were spent on it.
I recently looked at a line of European products that actually seem to be quite good and really made in Europe -- but sadly I know there is no point -- I don't have the marketing dollars required to make it "cool".

There is a great book called NO LOGO, written by Naomi Klein. A revealing read of corporate America and how branding has become more important than the product itself. I'll bring it down next trip if you have not already read it.
Cheers
Kevin
