FM reception

Hi I have a 2014 Corolla with an Pioneer AVH-P2400BT and I've noticed when I plug my phone into the power accessory port that the FM reception drops I've grounded the radio to the chassis and it still does it what else would cause the reception to drop?

This head unit has a Tuner that you can pick the Level you want for stations. However the Higher levels are for the closer stations with best signal at your unit. So may want to look at your manual and pick a lower level to pick up more stations. I am not sure but if memory serves me right on that head unit you can find the FM level adjustment in your box on page 59 or 60. It don't talk about it much but you can adjust it up to +4 and down to -4. Hope this helps you

Good Luck
James

That's for the sound level not the strength of the FM signal

Oh Yeah your right. It is on the right side of page 39 where it talks about how to change that setting.

Here is how it is worded.
3 Touch c or d on Level to select the de-sired level.
(AVH-P2400BT/AVH-P1400DVD)
Level1—Level2—Level3—Level4

Sorry I am not a expert in your radio just had information in mind that there was the ability to change them sadly my memory isn't as it used to be. Hope this time you find my help useful
