1989 chev Corssica-non A/C.
The heter and fan controls are all combined with the factory radio.
Talk about time consuming!!
Also hard on the nuckles.

1987 Ford EXP. Okay, it wasn't the car so much as the installer My buddy who owned the car, and I were 16 and he had just bought a then-new Alpine 7801 (this was late 1991). Being interested in car audio, I thought I could put the deck in. But reading mags and going to events certainly ain't the same as knowing what you are doing with the tools. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] I had no idea what colors the factory wires were and figured the big thick wire would have been power until I discovered it was the radio antenna We got Dukk to finish the install off. my 90 tbird sc is a pain in the ***...not so much connecting things up....but getting the deck to lock into the dash...frickin alpine 7894 has so much **** behind it.....and there's like nowhere to put it all...took me over an hour last time to get the thing locked in...

Early 80's Toyota pu's are not a walk in the park, nor is any deck install where the customer calls you and tells you that he's cut all the wires and needs help, yet he doesn't comprehend what you are explaining to him.
