mna this forum is starting to resemble sound domain in all its flame war glory. When did this forum become about ripping up each other and less bout actually discussing car audio and getting help?

George knows that Blaupunkt was the cats behind a 13 years ago, but since then it has been surpased by dozens of companies. George knows that no matter how good Blaupunkt makes product now, the last 8 years of crap will make it hard to ever get a good name back. George, 1996 called you, they want you back.

Teri - sorry for the confusion but I am referring to high range speakers only. I would certainly feel free to use differing amps and head units than speakers. I am not even sticky about subwoofers matching the full range drivers as experimentation is needed regardless.
Again people - the thread has a topic, please use it |
George think that boominZ24 should not get his/her (George wonders if the real name is PAT) panties in such a knot. After all this was a discussion about Blaupunkt. George gave an opinion on the product that people did not like so George was asked to explain his opinion which George did and now he is being bashed upon for it.

This has turned into a interesting post, along with many of the others. Mixing up brands is perfectly fine so long as you are not trying to run 1 brand A sub with 1 brand B sub, that is not good. As for the Blaupunkt comments...............I personally don't like their products and the only person that has run them in the last few years was Mark Ligget in his Expert Nissan but he only had 2 sub amps and they drove a custom made Blaupunkt DVC woofer that was only used for SPL purposes.
I think there are much better lines then Blaupunkt and there are many that are also crap................ To each their own, I would take a Sony or Alpine over Blaupunkt anyday........ |
