Hey, how did I miss this thread?

Blaupunkt makes a decent speaker. I have a set of ODrive coax's (those 4 way DVC 6x9's) and they are quite unique. They take a decent beating too. I plan on using them for rear fill (when I feel like it), but now I'm scared to because ALL my speakers and components are different. Poop.

I also had those T-line sets when I had my Omni 3 years ago. I must admit, they did perform moderately with only deck power hahahaha. Beats OEM and Pyramid, but I think I only had my 5¼'s in 5 months, and my 6x9's for 2. I then amped the system, added the Quarts and OverDrives and was broke from then on. :D

So for the beginner, BP speakers are ok. I'm saying speakers, none else. But yeah, hear it before you like it!

As an FYI, it would also be good to convert from using 6x9's to round 6's or something. An oval speaker has its own funny sounding characteristics and is rendered as less than stellar over symmetrical drivers. Just something to keep in mind there. You seldom see oval speakers used in home audio for a reason.

If you want to match, thats cool, but some people just dont care about that.

I would say try to avoid the 6x9's in general, but some will also argue against that.

I would try to get the fronts put in first, then see if you really want/need the 6x 9's, usually you'll find front stage and rear sub(s) more than enough overall

PS- I have a set of the Focal Access from a couple years ago that I still run...I am VERY happy with them. For the money the y cost, I dont think any comps would match up, in my opinion...VERY Nice little set

Im not sure you should talk like that about blaupunkt, with JVC in your ride, but thats just my opinion

look guys I'm a Blaupunkt dealer, and all I have to say about this thread is that Blaupunkt decks have 32X sampaling rate, oh and, probobly the nicest overhead monitors on the market, oh, and the mosT versatile mouting options out there for the overdrive speakers and sub line, oh and they were the first ever company to put a radio in a car, (and CD) oh, and, a diversity anntenna in the san fran, what else do you people want, history, and industry leading firsts? Well, hmmm. Anyways, in my opinion Blaupunkt is ONE of the "best buys" in the market (especially in my store) and probobly some of the most reliable quality peices in the market. Expect BIG BIG BIG things from them in the next 6 months to a year or so from them and us

</font>
This looks like a case for 'Unsolved Mysteries' .... Maybe we can get it on the show, if it's not off the air that is.

Maybe he is, maybe he isnt, but after seeing some of his previous posts in other topics, I was less then educated by his 3rd person wit (and charm). But like you said, it MAY all be an act.... ;)

George would like to thank 99altima for taking the time out to question George's background. While George is not going to answer with his exact background, George's knowledge, which is always apparent will eventually touch and help everyone.
