So you too can base your opinions on things you have no experience with.
The info on the Jackhammer is here http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/pro...jackHammer.cfm it states quite clearly that it has swappable cones Haunz, so not only do you not have any experience with the speaker, you haven't even read the info about it on the website. Way to form an unbiased opinion. I know you hate MTX and that's great, but you might want to make sure you tell people that you have no experience at all and your opinion is just your biased opinion and you have no experience first!

^ Nah, Haunz was gracing our board even before Yuli I believe...
Well, it doesn't.
Some general things that contribute to a low FS though are heavy cones and loose suspensions and those are generally negatives in SPL. Still, IMO you have to consider the entire driver rather than zero in on something like FS.
Incidentally, the same things that lower FS also lower efficiency to a certain extent. Again, one has to look at the total package though.
As for the Jackhammer - I would like to volunteer to be the official tester to see if this baby can do SPL or not. All I ask is for a free one and I'll build a car for it
how does FS determine whether or not its an SPL sub

Dukk hit it on the head...
Dw, the only info they give is that the 'SPL' version has dual 2ohm coils instead of dual 4..
What Ive been trying to figure out is how your opinion can oppose mine so strongly when YOU haven't used one either ?????
Give your opinion on what you know, and what you know to be true... thats what I did, and you guys try and flame me for it...
You can say so much for experience with a specific product, and you can say so much for EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL...
Dont worry.. we will see who is right... As you might guess Iam still confident...
But I dont want to argue like kids either... so cheers...
