Since you all agree Iam wrong, I guess I must be... well find out one day...

On a side note, those calling names can suck a fart out of my azz for all I care... not much point in arguing with big shot installers that know everything when I could be hanging in the physics lab at school doing something usefull...

For that, maybe Iam a little daft...

Well, the two words are synonyms... With respect to describing ease of swapping out a cone, it just seems redundant to me to use both words... Maybe I'm just nitpicking.

Yea, again, I agree with Dereck, fast and quick aren't the same.

7 seconds flat in the 1/4 mile is quick.

700Mph across the salt flats is fast.

OK, so quick, as in pertaining to acceleration over a quarter mile, and fast, pertaining to high top speed... I never said they were the same thing, I just still see no point in using both to describe swapping a bloody cone in a subwoofer in the same sentence... And the whole acceleration vs top speed in a car things validates my point entirely because what the hell does acceleration have to do with replacing a cone? While we're on this off-topic, why couldn't you say a car doing 1/4 mile in 7 seconds flat is fast, or 700mph across the salt flats is quick?

Honestly, after browsing a few threads today I'm starting to think people debate just for the sake of debating... Ah well, this is all .

well if spl is all about the bigger woofer....dosnt audiobahn have something crazy like a 32" woofer....since like 2 years ago...?

fast and quick debate....it seems some people are thinking quick referres to acceleration...wich is what I would assume...how about I look it up in a dictionary

definition:

1 Moving or functioning rapidly and energetically; speedy.
2 Learning, thinking, or understanding with speed and dexterity; bright: a quick mind.

3) a. Perceiving or responding with speed and sensitivity; keen.
b. Reacting immediately and sharply: a quick temper.

although its not clear...quickness does seem to referr to acceleration...mainly based on reaction time it seems. Sorry if I posted something someone else already posted....wasnt willing to read the full 3 pages...
