Just to compare something that is closer... the HC 800 is about 1/2 the weight and is 950 amps, 750 CA's, 36Ah.
The HC 1400 is a bit smaller physically.. 1500 AMPS, 1150 CA's and 60Ah.
The Excide is 1100 Max amps and 50AH. (no CA rating) ...
I'm not really sure how big of a battery you could fit in to your Toyota, but the HC 2400 is 13" x 6.7" x 8.5" (9.4" with post). [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

If this is true, then it's very hard for the average enthusiast to justify purchasing an unknown item versus one with a track record. If the price was say 25% below the competition initially(trial period to get the word out) then I can see many people taking the chance and buying one. I use the old drug dealers trick...give the stuff out for free until they get hooked, then charge them an arm and a leg.
Sounds fair.... I guess this GB is a wash then, we'll just have to see if someone wants to take advantage of the discount before the 14th....
