Yes, I saw the W7 in action and man, they kick hard. Maybe too hard for the small echo.

The soundsplinter, I never hear. They look very well built.

Ohhh the sundown looks like a beefy lil thing!!
The Soundsplinter is amazing, Youtube up Soundsplinter and there is a crx with 2 of them in it, decent lil subs.

Instead of reading what other people think you should not have based upon their buying the wrong sub for their application, consider what you need for your application. While the shallow mount is not for the person who wants copious amounts of bass it is ideal for the person who wants some bass that is not overwhelming and does not take up space and based on what you have posted, it is a very logical solution to your needs. Budget dependent of course, the Kenwood Excelon offers more output but at a significan price increase over the Pioneer. I think the Pioneer you would be more than happy with in your small car for your expectations.

I know I should trust you. You give good point and you know your stuff. I have to check how much cuibic inch I can get. Maybe I should start whit this first. I will pm you for a quote on this sub and amp.

I would go with a 10" sub that can handle no more than 500rms. Most of todays 10"s are comfortable in a 0.75 cubic foot sealed enclosures which means they barely take up alot of room.
