Toyota Echo 2dr hatch back, what sub ?
#25
Instead of reading what other people think you should not have based upon their buying the wrong sub for their application, consider what you need for your application. While the shallow mount is not for the person who wants copious amounts of bass it is ideal for the person who wants some bass that is not overwhelming and does not take up space and based on what you have posted, it is a very logical solution to your needs. Budget dependent of course, the Kenwood Excelon offers more output but at a significan price increase over the Pioneer. I think the Pioneer you would be more than happy with in your small car for your expectations.
