I think if you were running only one amp for a street setup, it would be hard to beat a factory modded Crossfire VR4000D.
Now if you wanted to strap amps I would say E-Audio 3000D for sure.
These would be my top 2 pics if I had to choose.

also i think you now have to include, the Rockford T3000's, Treo 1500.1's, and the newer Treo's coming out
